Good evening and happy Thursday everyone! Tonight's post will be about hibachi....one of my favorite meals to go out and buy. Recently, I was browsing Pinterest to figure out what I could do with the few items I had in my kitchen (I'm doing this thing where I try to use everything in my fridge before going to the grocery store). With two chicken breasts, zucchini, squash and rice the answer was simple...hibachi (pictured below).
Recipe:
Chicken (how ever much you like)
Zucchini (how ever much you like)
Squash (how ever much you like)
Butter (I used about 2-3 tbsp)
Soy sauce (depends on how much flavor you like but I used 2 tbsp)
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
Rice
Cooking Instructions:
Put Rice on (I used day old rice)
Dice up your chicken and veggies
Heat a little olive oil in a skillet pan
Place chicken in pan with 1 tbsp. butter, 1 tbsp. soy sauce, and salt and pepper (to taste)
Cook chicken all the way through and set to the side.
In a separate skillet repeat the same steps but with the veggies instead. Cook until done.
Combine chicken and veggies and let cover with lid for about 5 minutes.
Personally, I fried my rice with a little soy and a fried egg but I suspect that it would've been just as good with white rice.
Happy Eating!
Danielle!
